Soft Serve Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Soft Serve Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Who doesn't love ice cream!?!? You won't want to miss this one! Get the friends and family together, grab that ice cream maker that's been collecting dust, and treat everyone to some fresh homemade gourmet soft serve!

Whipping Cream : 1 1/2 Cups Full Fat Milk : 1 1/2 Cups

Honey : 1/2 Cup

Vanilla Paste : 2 Tablespoons

Vanilla Bean Pod : 1 Pod

Sea Salt : 1/4 Teaspoon

*for added creaminess and a nicer consistency once frozen, add 2 Egg Yolks*

*this is a recipe for an ice cream maker, make sure your ice cream mixer bowl has been in the freezer for 24 hours before creating your ice cream*

Pour your ingredients into a large bowl and whisk together. Put the mixture into the fridge for 1-3 hours. Once you are ready to make your ice cream, take out the bowl, whisk everything together again, turn on your ice cream maker and pour your mix into the freezer bowl. Throughout the mixing process, put a spoon into it and mix to make sure everything is coming together well. If you want to add mix-ins, add them in the last 10 minutes of mixing! After about 30 minutes you will have ready to eat soft serve ice cream! You can freeze this for 1-2 hours for a thicker consistency, however without the egg yolks, if you freeze overnight, the next day the consistency is more crumbly than thick!
